How about $4719 for 16 hours work?

That's me. Staring at a wad of cheques accumulated over six weeks in the summer of 2007. The 16 hours went in about a half hour at a time over that period. I spent the rest of my free time cramming my brain full of everything I could learn about internet marketing. But only 16 hours on the stuff making money.

The best part is that it's still paying off. Months later I'm still making money every day from those initial campaigns. This stuff runs completely on autopilot.

That's fine for you but what about me?

I'm happy to tell you how I did it. In fact if you ask any of my friends they'll tell you that it's hard to shut me up once I get started on this stuff. There's so much to talk about that I can go on forever.

The internet is an uncharted gold mine. We are just figuring out how to use it. Never before in history has there been the ability for lowly individuals to reach millions of people while spending virtually nothing. Quiet fortunes are being made every day. You know it. Google is enormous. YouTube sold for 1.6 billion dollars. Facebook connects millions of people. This pie is getting larger by the minute and it's easier than ever to grab your piece of it.

Internet marketing is a repeatable and predictable science. It's like turning on a water tap. Internet traffic is the water that powers your marketing machine. You direct the traffic into places that generate cash and you feed your bank account.

How long does it take to make money?

That depends mainly on you and your ability to focus. Lots of people get into this and flounder around trying a hundred different things but never get very far with any of them. If you find one technique and focus on it you could be profitable in the first month. There are dozens of different approaches you can take to get started. The key is to pick one and work through it until you see results.

I've been toying with internet marketing since the fall of 2006, but I've only been focusing on it since April. I started out selling shirt designs online but my breakthrough came in April when I discovered affiliate marketing. You can read more about that on my free membership site.

One of the great advantages of this business is that you can start it up with absolutely no money. With a computer and internet access you can compete on an equal footing with companies that have millions in overhead. You will reach a point where you need to spend money but you can ease into that when you have profits to spend. It's easy to get your feet wet without a lot of financial commitments.
