Affiliate networksPlaces to find products to sell. Signing up as an affiliate is quick, painless and free and you can immediately start promoting products. You sell products by sending potential customers to the merchant's sales site (ie: amazon.com) and you make a commission when they buy something.

Places to put ezine adsAdvertising in ezines gives you immediate access to targeted niche mailing lists. Article posting sitesArticle sites are great for getting free content for your website. You can also submit your own articles to create traffic or to sell affiliate products. Press release sitesSimilar to article posting sites. Press releases are used to announce a new product, service, event, or newsworthy item. Link buildingTrading links with other sites weaves your site into the web and generates traffic and PageRank.
Black HatStuff you're not supposed to do that will probably get you banned from Google.
Blog and PingBlog and ping is a common technique for announcing your blog posts. It's kind of like throwing a rock at somebody's door to get their attention.
Web directories (paid and free)Getting listed in web directories lets the world (and search engines) know about your website. The higher the PR of the directory the better.

TrackingThese tools help you track where your sales are coming from. This helps you to focus on what works and to stop spending money on stuff that doesn't work.
Social bookmarkingThese sites are like a "favorites" list that you share with the world. Having your site bookmarked will help it's rankings in the search engines and create search results for the bookmark itself. The more bookmarks your site gets the better.
