Day 20: Hiring a Ghostwriter
Well, I hacked out my dog training article in about an hour last night. I incorporated the info from my buddy with the dog. I also searched around for similar articles and borrowed a few ideas, being sure to rewrite them in my own words. It actually went pretty fast. That got me a first draft which I gave to my wife who is the real writer in the family. She cleaned it up and injected some life into it.
Meanwhile, I was poking around at the 1kaday forum. This forum is a great resource populated with lots of successful internet marketers. I have learnedĀ tons from hanging out there. There is a woman named Courtney Ramirez who is an active contributor and professional ghostwriter. She is basically a gun for hire who will write whatever you need and allow you to put your own name on it. I decided to check out Courtney’s site (webwritinginfo.com) to see what it might cost me to get some articles written. As it turns out, she is not accepting new clients at the moment but she recommended a couple of websites to check out.
To my surprise I found that the cost for getting articles written for you is completely affordable. You can get a 400 word article written for as little as $10! If you want to splurge you can get 600 words for $15. I’m sure you get what you pay for but I read some of the samples and they were at least as good as the PLR material that I’ve been buying. You can even specify a few keyword phrases and have an article written specifically around those keywords. The turn around time is my main concern with hiring a ghostwriter at the moment. One of the sites said the turn around was 3 weeks. That wouldn’t normally be an issue but I only have 10 days left in this experiment. I’m sure some of the other sites would probably have faster turnaround. While I was doing this my wife managed to expand my 500 word article to 800 words in the cleanup process so I moved on to the next stage.
Article Submission
I headed on over to ezinearticles to submit my article. This is one of the highest profile article sites and they have pretty strict guidelines. I had to make sure that my article conformed to their editorial guidelinesĀ page. I tweaked it a bit more and submitted it for approval. Hopefully it won’t take too long.
Tomorrow I’m going to social bookmark the hell out of my Profitmart site as part my search engine domination strategy. I might ask you for some assistance.
If you would like to see a list of the resources used in today’s post you can find them here.

Thanks for stopping by my site! I’m sorry I’m not accepting anyone right now, but I trust and respect the writers that I listed. I’m excited to see what your results look like and I’m glad that you’re finding that outsourcing your writing is affordable!
